All I can say is THANK GOODNESS for the invention of the DVR!!!!! How did the television audience ever survive before? Did people once have to actually DECIDE between 2 shows? As I age, my memory fades.... did I ever have to make such decisions? How horrible to think about.
Top Chef Restaurant Wars is always a very precarious event. The losing team always seems to lose one of the strongest chefs in the competition either because they stepped up and took on the responsibility of Head Chef in the kitchen, or they took on the challenge of front of house. This season, it's All-Stars.... so they are already all very strong. I can only hope that one of my favorites doesn't get caught up in the storm of this challenge.
Now....also tonight, is the season premier of American Idol. Always anticipated, but of course, since the departure of my favorite judge, Simon, there is curiosity on what it will be with the new blood. Plus, I love the early auditions.... seeing the amazing singers from the beginning.... and of course, the poor souls who actually think they can sing in front of anyone except their dog. I, personally, only sing in front of my dogs who love me unconditionally or in my car (not at stop lights!)
